Lifetime Leadership Award - Nomination Form Deadline is June 15, 2012

The Lifetime Leadership Award is presented annually at PLANET’s Green Industry Great Escape to a PLANET member who has dedicated his/her life to the green industry. He/she has demonstrated leadership and service, as well as made a commitment to both the green industry and PLANET. Eligible nominees must be active members of PLANET and have been a part of the green industry for a minimum of 25 years.

Qualifications:

  • Has held important positions within the association (including ALCA and PLCAA associations).
  • Has been recognized for outstanding contributions of ideas, programs, and/or educational endeavors that have benefited other members of the association.
  • Has been known and recognized both inside and outside the industry for his/her achievements and contributions to the industry on a national and regional (state) basis.

PLANET Promise Award - Nomination Form Deadline is June 15, 2012

This award recognizes industry-leading participation and involvement in the delivery of the PLANET promises.

  • Advance Marketplace Recognition
  • Influence Through Proactive Advocacy

PLANET members that have dedicated themselves to delivering exemplary results on the PLANET Promises are eligible for this new award.

Requirements for Promise Award nominations

  • Must be an active member of PLANET
  • Have delivered against the PLANET Promises above and beyond their normal job function.
  • Have made a tangible difference in the green industry.

Any PLANET member may nominate themselves or a fellow member. PLANET’s Board of Directors will review the nominations and select the recipient of this award. The PLANET Promise Award will be presented at the PLANET Awards Presentation at the Green Industry Conference October 26, 2012. In addition, press releases will be distributed to local and national media and trade press on this achievement.

Association Partner of the Year Award - Nomination Form Deadline is June 15, 2012

This awards program will honor both an individual State or Regional Association Executive and a State or Regional Association for their contributions to the green industry within their state/region and nationally as a member of PLANET. Nominations for these awards can be submitted by any PLANET member and the nominee must be a state or regional association member of PLANET.

Association Executive Partner of the Year Award - Nomination Form Deadline is June 15, 2012

The State Association Executive Partner of the Year Award honors PLANET member state/regional association executives for their significant contributions to the green industry within their own state or region and nationally as a member of PLANET. In addition, the recipient typically has made an exemplary effort to promote professionalism within the green industry.
