Member benefits now include special pricing from John Deere

Through PLANET’s new John Deere affinity program members can receive equipment discounts of up to 28 percent off the suggested list price. The discounts vary by product and include commercial mowers, tractors and attachments, Gator™ utility vehicles, skid steer loaders, hand-held power equipment, and more. PLANET members can obtain quotes on the equipment as well as see the equipment demonstrated by visiting their local John Deere dealer.

“One way that PLANET delivers unparalleled value to its membership is through its affinity partnerships,” states PLANET President Jim Martin, CLP. “By using the John Deere affinity program, typical members who purchase a new piece of equipment once a year will more than save the cost of their membership. John Deere has been an exceptional, long-time supporter of PLANET’S many efforts to advance our industry. PLANET’S leadership is very excited about partnering with John Deere to provide our members with this industry-leading benefit. Regardless of size, the John Deere affinity program provides real savings to all of our members.”

In addition to being a leading supplier of lawn and landscape equipment to green industry professionals, John Deere offers customized financing, and equipment parts and servicing. John Deere dealerships can be found in 2,800 locations throughout North America.

“Because John Deere believes strongly in the mission of PLANET, we are very pleased to offer a national account contract to PLANET members,” says John Deere’s Gilbert Peña, business-to-business strategy manager. “Partnering through an affinity program to strengthen member benefits will create a win/win for member acquisition and retention,” adds Peña.

For more information about purchasing equipment through the program, call your local John Deere dealership. If you have questions about the program, call (800) 358-5010 (select option 2). For details on John Deere equipment, visit www.JohnDeere.com.
