Damgaards becomes Platinum Ambassador

Long-time members Ron and Sara Damgaard of Barrington, Illinois, have added $25,000 to their initial $25,000 contribution to the PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation (PLANET AEF) scholarship fund. Applications available for Educator of the Year Award

The PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation (PLANET AEF) is currently accepting nominations for its Outstanding Educator of the Year Award for 2008. Applications must be submitted to the PLANET office no later than February 4, 2008. This award will be presented at the PLANET Student Career Days event, March 27–30, 2008, at North Metro Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia.

Play an important role in measuring the American economy

The U.S. Census Bureau has created a Web page, business.census.gov, to help businesses understand the kind of information that is available to them, and to assist businesses with the 2007 Economic Census. If you get a census form, please fill it out and return it promptly. It’s important to your business, our industry, and your community to have good information about the economy.
