MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW FOR PLANET’S 2008 LEGISLATIVE DAY ON THE HILL

HERNDON, Va., February 1, 2008 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) urges all green industry professionals to gather in Washington, D.C., July 20–22, 2008, for Legislative Day on the Hill. During this three-day event, green industry professionals have the opportunity to visit the offices of their representatives and senators to discuss issues that are vital to the future of the industry. Bayer Environmental Science, Husqvarna, and Syngenta are the Platinum Sponsors for this event.

Green industry companies will also have the opportunity to remember America’s veterans and leaders by donating their time and/or equipment to the annual beautification project at Renewal and Remembrance at Arlington National and Historic Congressional Cemeteries. Last year more than 400 volunteers from across the country spent the day mulching, pruning, planting, and aerating at the cemeteries.
