INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY, SUSTAINABILITY KEY TOPICS OF PLANET’S 2009 GREEN INDUSTRY CONFERENCE

HERNDON, Va., March 3, 2009 — Education, networking, and being able to gain hands-on experience with the latest green industry equipment are still the hallmarks of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) Green Industry Conference (GIC), scheduled for October 28–31, 2009, in Louisville, Kentucky. Included in this year’s list of workshops are topics, such as marketing in a tight economy, economic as well as environmental sustainability, and innovation and technology, that are sure to be top of mind for most green industry companies given the new economic reality. The conference also will once again feature the popular networking event, Breakfast With Champions, during which more than 80 roundtable group discussions on a variety of topics of interest will take place.

The Louisville Marriott Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky, will once again be the headquarters hotel for GIC attendees. This premiere convention hotel provides Pedway connection to many downtown locations, including Louisville’s bustling Fourth Street Live district.
