PLANET SEEKS DONATIONS FOR GIC LIVE AUCTION

Herndon, VA, April 4, 2005 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) invites all its members to participate in the PLANET Live Auction, a new and exciting event to be held at the 2005 Green Industry Conference, November 2–5, in Orlando, Florida. PLANET supplier members will want to sign up today to make a donation to this popular PLCAA-legacy event. The Live Auction draws crowds and is a fun way for companies to earn recognition while supporting important PLANET programs.

Companies are urged to sign up today to donate a product or service. All donations are considered and accepted, including non-lawn-care and landscaping items, such as magazine advertising, teaching aids, artwork, electronics, sports paraphernalia, fishing equipment, quilts, and anything else donors may wish to give (minimum value of $250). Proceeds from the auction support PLANET’s education, regulatory, and community awareness initiatives.

Each donating company will be recognized in a slide presentation during the auction.  PLANET will provide a PowerPoint presentation with donor company names and booth numbers to be displayed when each donor’s product is up for bid. PLANET will also provide recognition of all donating companies in its PLANET News newsmagazine and in a press release distributed following the Green Industry Conference.
