PLANET RELEASES NEW LANDSCAPE DESIGN SHOWCASE CD

HERNDON, Va., April 7, 2009 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is pleased to announce the release of its new Landscape Design Showcase CD, a tool for members to help clients, who are interested in purchasing landscape design/build services, visualize projects and move from concept to the actual design phase more quickly.

Sponsored by JOHN DEERE and Kichler Lighting, the Landscape Design Showcase CD is filled with some of the most beautiful landscape projects created by PLANET members. Members from the association’s Design/Build/Installation Specialty Group were asked to submit photos of their projects, which were then reviewed and chosen for inclusion on the CD by a select group from that specialty area. The projects on this user-friendly, easy-to-navigate CD are organized into seven main categories — Accents, Entries, Gardens, Hardscapes, Outdoor Living, Structures, and Water — which are then further divided into several subcategories.

The CD can be purchased for $30 (members) or $50 (nonmembers) at the PLANET Bookstore at LandcareNetwork.org or by calling (800) 293-5542.
