DEADLINES ANNOUNCED FOR PLANET’S ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT AWARDS PROGRAM

HERNDON, Va., May 1, 2009 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is pleased to announce that it is accepting entries for PLANET’s 40th annual Environmental Improvement Awards Program. Entry forms and more details about the program are available in the Programs section of the PLANET Web site, LandcareNetwork.org. The early-bird deadline for entries is July 13, 2009. All entries are due by August 10, 2009. Participation in the program is limited to PLANET members.

The PLANET Environmental Improvement Awards Program reflects PLANET's commitment to creating and preserving the beauty of our landscape and is designed to reward independent interior plantscaping, landscape, and lawn care professionals who execute superior projects.

Award recipients will be recognized at the PLANET Green Industry Conference, October 28–31, 2009, in Louisville, Kentucky.
