MEMBER TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR HELPING ADVANCE PLANET’S STRATEGIC GOALS

HERNDON, Va., July 2, 2008 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) provides its members with the opportunity to recognize those individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to PLANET and the green industry.

In addition to the Environmental Improvement Awards, Green Industry Contribution Award, Community Service Recognition Awards, Association Partner of the Year Award, and Association Executive Partner of the Year Award programs, PLANET has created the PLANET Promise Awards program. This award was created to recognize members for their participation and involvement in the delivery of any one goal of the PLANET Promise, which consists of the following five goals in its long-term strategic plan:

Deliver unparalleled value to PLANET members
Grow the green industry workforce
Expand PLANET’s position as partner of choice
Advance marketplace recognition
Influence through proactive advocacy
