                                 OSHA 10-HOUR COURSE AT GREEN INDUSTRY CONFERENCE 
                                                  TO HAVE NEW INDUSTRY-SPECIFIC FOCUS


HERNDON, Va., October 2, 2006 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is pleased to announce that the content of the OSHA 10-hour course offered at its Green Industry Conference (GIC), November 1–4, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio will focus specifically on the green industry.

The OSHA 10-Hour Course is an optional GIC ticketed event. Part 1 of the course will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Part 2 of will follow on Saturday, November 5, 2006, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This course provides health and safety training for all green industry workers who work on or around lawn maintenance or landscaping sites. Attendees will learn practical information on OSHA 1926 standards, inspections, training requirements, and the OSHA citation process. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued OSHA 10-hour cards from the OSHA Training Institute.
