Green industry company owners, managers, and leaders — and their families — are invited to leave the winter’s chill behind and fly away to Florida, where they can bask in the sun and review their business practices on Florida’s luxurious beaches. Company owners and top management find the Forum to be the perfect time to see old friends, make new acquaintances, and share best practices while gaining valuable knowledge on the hot topics and business issues that concern them most. The three-day meeting includes morning educational, discussion, and networking opportunities, as well as time for golf, eco-tour, backwater fishing tournament, and great dining opportunities. Executive Forum will combine the concepts of high-level academic ideas, the practical insights of some of the most successful green industry companies, and green industry leaders’ business examples from real-world scenarios. Forum attendees will be guided through an experiential workshop that exemplifies the challenges and successes of applying lean management principles using LEGO® building blocks to tackle lean management concepts and observe management change in a real world setting. Participants also can participate in plenty of networking events, including more informal networking receptions than in previous years. Each night of the Forum, attendees will enjoy refreshments with top green industry leaders at casual, evening get-togethers. At these receptions, attendees can discuss the day’s presentations or finalize evening plans. The always-popular golf tournament will be held at the Raptor Bay course at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa. Designed by golf-legend Raymond Floyd, this 18-hole course melds tournament-quality holes with natural surroundings, making it the first course in the world to receive Audubon International’s Gold Signature Sanctuary Certification. Also new to the Forum this year is “Dine Around Town,” in which participants can enjoy a fun, memorable dining experience with friends and associates in top area restaurants. Reservations will be made for attendees, who can pick from a wide range of gourmet venues. Green industry company leaders are urged to mark their calendars and plan to take part in this special PLANET event.
