As a leader, you work hard and strive to be the most effective, inspirational leader you can be and this year’s Forum — Executive Magic: The Balance of Life, Work & Health — will continue to focus on your well-being. But, along with the opportunity to be enlightened, you’ll also have loads of fun with your family all in one place — Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Major sponsors for this year’s Forum are Caterpillar at the Gold level and Vermeer at the Silver level. On the event’s education side, the line up of Forum speakers includes noted educator and world champion athlete Murray Banks, who has personalized presentations about performance for a number of Fortune 500 companies, such as Siemens Corp., American Express, and Bristol Myers Squibb; Bill Arman, founder and head harvester of The Harvest Group, a landscape business consulting company; and Scott Smith, an advanced certified personal trainer, AFFA Group Fitness Instructor, clinical hypnotherapist, and founder of MotivationToMove.com, a popular health, fitness, and motivation Web site. From Banks, attendees will learn that “who we are may be as important as what we know!” Arman’s workshop, entitled “Lessons From the Garden,” will cover the most important areas an executive needs to understand and focus on in order to build an organization that’s “best of class,” and Smith’s will focus on the tools to improve your mental and physical fitness. On the fun side, spouses and children can enjoy a continental breakfast, midday snack, or just stop by for refreshments at the Family Hospitality Suite, which will be available each day of the Forum, Thursday–Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the Welcome Reception sponsored by John Deere on Thursday, and the Networking Happy Hour sponsored by Cub Cadet Commercial on Friday, spouses will have the opportunity to learn the art of floral arrangements the Disney way and take Behind-the-Scene tours available through Disney. Spouses and children will also have the opportunity to go on a Mouse Quest at Magic Kingdom® Park and take in a breathtaking display during a dessert reception on Saturday at IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot®.
