PLANET’S 2008 Executive Forum Combines Education, Insight, and Entertainment

HERNDON, Va., December 3, 2007 — Green industry company owners, managers, and their families are invited to attend the Professional Landcare Network’s (PLANET’s) 2008 Executive Forum, scheduled for February 14–17, at the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino in Scottsdale, Arizona. The forum brings together some of the most insightful members of the academic, professional, and green industry communities to share ideas and best practices, and is designed to provide company executives with the necessary tools to strengthen their businesses, staff, and management skills. The early bird registration deadline is January 16, 2008, and those who register by this date will not only enjoy a discount on their registration fee, but will also be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate to Amethyst Spa at the Radisson.

There’s something for everyone who attends the Executive Forum, which kicks off with a golf tournament at the Scott Miller-designed Eagle Mountain Golf Club, in the rugged McDowell Mountains of Fountain Hills. David Zerfoss, president of Husqvarna, will deliver the keynote presentation in which he will share insights on executive wellness, coaching, and creating a company culture designed to operate at peak performance. Husqvarna, a global leader in outdoor power products, is the 2008 Executive Forum Strategic Partner.

Spouses or guests of attendees can choose to participate in the entire forum experience, which includes the option to take a behind-the-scenes tour, sponsored by Ewing Irrigation and Hunter Industries, of one of two state-of-the-art facilities — AridScape Concepts, Inc., corporate headquarters or the University of Phoenix Stadium. Or they may choose to simply enjoy the traditional social activities, such as the spouse/guest brunch, featuring local boutiques, delicious food, and great door prizes; a day at Nordstrom to be renewed and refreshed; and evening receptions each night.
