Student/Employer Roundtable Recruiting Session
2007 Green Industry Conference

Industry Information
This dinner event is a “can’t miss” for employers. During this session, employers will have face-to-face contact with green industry students — the future of the green industry. It’s a great opportunity to introduce your company to the students and make them aware of the various internship programs and career opportunities that are available. It’s also an opportunity for you to learn which career paths most interest today’s students and for you to impact their current perceptions of the industry.

As an employer, you will be stationed at a numbered roundtable. The students select a table and network with the employer; every 15 minutes, the students will select new tables and network with new employers. You will have the opportunity to meet with six rounds of students. Prior to the conference, PLANET will send a description of your company to the students so they can make educated table selections. Plus, employers are encouraged to bring company giveaways for the students (brochures, pens, magnets, hats, etc.).

This event will include a buffet dinner, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. — we don't want you to network while hungry! Dinner will be served until 6:30 p.m., and at 6:45 p.m. networking will begin.

The Student/Employer Roundtable Recruiting Session will be a popular event due to the success of last year's session. As always, space is limited. Participation in the event will be first-come, first-served!
