Each July PLANET holds its Legislative Day on the Hill event. Prior to this event, the Government Affairs Committee determines the national issues that are the most important to the industry and our members. We conduct briefings on the issues for Legislative Day attendees and help them set up appointments with their legislators to discuss the issues. Many times the issues are ongoing but are updated with new developments and a list of any bills that support our position. Following are the issues papers used for this year’s event:
