Use of Written Contracts in the Lawn Care IndustryThe Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) supports the concept of either oral or written contracts. If the agreement is continuous from year to year, the lawn care company should provide the following information prior to making the first application in subsequent years: - Written notification that services will continue during the upcoming lawn care season
- Written notification of the annual price and the price per application
- Full disclosure of any exclusions, additional costs ( e.g., service calls), and guarantees
