Putting Your Degree to WorkAs part of the Student Career Days (SCD) event at North Metro Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia, students are given the opportunity to attend several different educational events. These events include the SCD tour, student workshops, and the SCD Tech presentations. One of the presentations at SCD Tech will feature a panel of industry professionals who, in a lively 60-minute question-and-answer session entitled, “Putting Your Degree to Work,” will provide students with straight talk on career paths in the industry.” This is a perfect venue for students to find out real-world information about career opportunities and advancement in the green industry as well as what role education is playing in their career choices. The session will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at North Metro Technical College. Please plan to attend this valuable career development presentation.
