Industry Opportunities for Involvement
34th Annual Student Career Days

Is your company interested in participating in Student Career Days but you don't know how? Read below for three ways industry members can support this event.

Recruit for the future ...

Come recruit the best and brightest future leaders. Participate at this ultimate employee recruitment event in three ways:

1. Take part in the Career Fair:

Promote your company's employment opportunities at the Career Fair. Student recruiting efforts and interviews may be formally arranged at your company's booth space. Be sure to register early for your preferred booth location. Registration for a Career Fair booth is separate from all other Student Career Days registrations and includes participation in the Career Fair only.

Enhance your Career Fair experience by attending the Industry Workshop:

Industry Workshop
Thursday, April 8
1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
This workshop features a panel discussion on recruiting efforts and creating successful internship programs.  The panel will be comprised of industry representatives, students, and educators.  Audience participation is encouraged so come prepared to share your knowledge, successes and experiences with the group.

This workshop is FREE to all full registered Student Career Days attendees.  Be sure to take advantage of this educational event that could help your company stand out from others at the Career Fair.

2. Sponsor a Competitive Event:

Sponsor one or more of the 28 competitive events that range from Arboriculture Techniques, and Sales Presentation to Truck & Trailer Operation, Wood Construction, Computer Aided Landscape Design, and many more. By assisting or donating materials for a competitive event you will receive one complimentary registration and your company name listed on the Student Career Days Web site and in the onsite program.  Additionally, you have the opportunity to gain exposure by displaying a company banner at the selected event and by assisting the lead sponsor in running the competition.

3. Attend Student Career Days as an Observer:

See the students in action and take this opportunity to network on a casual level. This registration includes the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, attendance at the competitive events, as well as the Thursday's Industry/Faculty Reception, lunch and dinner on Friday, and lunch on Saturday. Come see what all the excitement is about!
