SCD Tech offers students and faculty the opportunity to attend presentations by industry professionals on topics that they might not otherwise be offered at their schools and universities. Each student that participates in a minimum of three of the SCD Tech offerings (and receives validation of their attendance) will receive an SCD Tech certificate. The top three schools in participation (based on how many students received certificates vs. how many students attended SCD) also receive a team award.

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: "Putting Your Degree to Work"- Students will experience a lively 60-minute question-and-answer panel session, identifying the real-world opportunities of a career in landscape management as well as the role education plays in career choices. Panelists include Michael Bellantoni Jr., CLT, Michael Bellantoni, Inc.; Ed Furner, CLT, Mariani Landscape; Chris Dicks, Ed Castro Landscape, Inc.; and Dr. Tim Smalley, University of Georgia.

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: "Preparing for Your Career"- Rusty Gordon, Pavestone Company
Topics Discussed Will Include:
