Lawn Care Specialty Group (LCSG)
Friends of the Network — Sponsorship Opportunities

Getting noticed is one thing; getting noticed by the right audience is entirely different. These sponsorship opportunities are designed for supplier companies that want to reach a specific segment of green industry professionals — lawn care service providers — across multiple platforms. Each opportunity provides ample recognition and allows the sponsor to build its brand and reach its target audience.

Become a Friend of the Lawn Care Network
Being an advocate and a business partner goes a long way in today’s competitive business environment, and PLANET would like to recognize supplier companies that position themselves as champions of the lawn care niche.

Companies that support the Lawn Care Specialty Group by sponsoring these opportunities and contributing a total of $10,000 will also be recognized as a Friend of the Lawn Care Network. This entails:

  • Recognition on a quarterly basis in PLANET News magazine alongside the LCSG article on a current topic in the Specialty Group Forum section.
  • Verbal and logo recognition in the multimedia presentation during the Recognition Reception at PLANET’s Executive Forum, attended by approximately 250 industry professionals each year.

LCSG Business Manual
(Possible title is Guide to Growing a Successful Lawn Care Business)
Target product introduction is October 2007 (PLANET’s 2007 Green Industry Conference – GIC)

The sponsorship cost is $30,000.
Multiple companies may sponsor this publication; partial sponsorships are available.

Part of PLANET's mission is to provide its members with the education they need to succeed. PLANET's Lawn Care Specialty Group is overseeing the production of a new publication for lawn care business owners and professionals. Specifically, the new publication will be geared toward smaller and emerging lawn care companies as well as to new employees in the industry and students.

The proposed format for this publication is a printed manual with business form on CD, and the user will be able to customize the business forms. The estimated shelf life for this product is a minimum of five years; the shelf life could be extended if the product’s format can be easily updated (i.e., a binder with inserts).

Please contact Dina Wiley at dinawiley@landcarenetwork.org for the complete Sponsorship Proposal for this project. The proposal provides details on the product’s target audience, timeline, marketing and sales promotions, and extensive sponsor recognition. A draft outline of the manual’s chapters is also available.

Note: PLANET is open to innovation; these opportunities may shift to better suit the sponsor’s needs and accomplish the sponsor’s goals within PLANET and the green industry.
