A company with this icon participates in the STARS (Safety Training Achieves Remarkable Success) Safe Company Program | | What are the primary search options? - Search by State or Country: Use the dropdown button to select the State or Country of your choice.
- Search by Company Name: Type in any part of the company name. As long as the correct letters are in the right order you can find what you are looking for. (See below for search tips)
- Search by ZIP Code: Enter a U.S. ZIP Code and the resulting companies will fall within a 50 mile radius of that ZIP Code and will be sorted with the closest company first.
- Search by Primary Contact: Type in any part of the contact's name. As long as the correct letters are in the right order you can find what you are looking for. (See below for search tips)
- Search by Additional Contact: If a company has opted to list additional contacts, they can be searched for too.
What are the secondary search options? - You can further limit your search by selecting a particular Area of Expertise (service). Selecting your ZIP Code and Lawn Care will result in a list of Lawn Care companies within 50 miles.
- Although you cannot search by Recognition Icon (See side panel) you can clearly see in your results which companies have certified staff, etc.
Can multiple primary search options be used together? Yes. Let's say you live within 50 miles of a state border but do not wish to do business outside your state. Enter you ZIP Code and your state and the results will be limited to those companies in your state within 50 miles. What does "Map It" do? Clicking the "Map It" link next to a company will open a new window with the company identified in a Google™ map. Use the "Get Directions" feature to map a route or determine driving distance to the company. Where are the e-mail addresses? Click on the "View" button next to a company to see a detailed summary page which lists the e-mail address and all additional contacts. Search Tips: - When searching for a contact or company, use a distinctive set of letters. The letters "h-o-m" may be part of a unique last name, but they also appear in "home", "thomas", and many other names.
- Use a space when searching for last names or words within a company name. Using a space before Martin, " Martin", will eliminate all companies with contacts having the first name Martin.
