Merendino Contracting, Inc., is seeking a Superintendent for each of it’s locations in Albany, NY, Montclair, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Organize mowing and inspect quality of work, train employees, apply and supervise pesticide applications as well as comply with pesticide record keeping. Maintain legal compliance with OSHA and other state and federal regulations, address customer and employee concerns, manage payroll and working hours, test growth regulators on all large fields and perimeters; show crews better, faster and safer methods of operating equipment and servicing clients, assist in the development of a franchise model. Must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Agronomy, Landscape or Horticulture and must be licensed to use turf and ornamental pesticides in NJ, NY or PA. Must have a driver’s license and knowledge of Spanish.
