Englehard Elementary School:
Engelhard Elementary School serves 446 students in grades pre kindergarten through fifth. The school's outdoor areas are in need of repair as a result of the many cost-cutting decisions that have impacted the budgets of many public and government agencies and institutions.

Scope of Work

Participants will be helping in two areas, an elementary playground and the completion of a previously unfinished landscaped area. The playground was in need of new playground mulch both for aesthetics as well as safety.  There was an insufficient amount of mulch to protect a child if he or she fell off of the play equipment. Several years ago they did some renovations to the building as well as adding a new sidewalk and fencing around the playground. As they neared the end of the project the funds ran out and they were only able to complete a portion of the desired landscape.  Participants helped to bring the landscape to completion.
