PLANET Student Career Days Event
Student Career Days (SCD) is an annual three-day event where more than 1000 students from universities and colleges from across the country compete in events that are directly related to the skills necessary for a career in the green industry, including tree climbing, paver installation, wood construction, sales presentation, skid steer operation, plant identification, and more. The event, in its 35th year, is organized by the nation's lawn and landscape association, the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET).
At this event, the PLANET AEF honors those recipients of scholarships. This year, 74 scholarships and awards were given. List of 2011 Scholarship Recipients.
