Legislative Day on the Hill

Collective Advocacy

The congressional landscape is ever changing, and our collective voice can be part of that change. Legislative Day on the Hill, the annual Washington fly-in, is a time for green industry professional to increase their knowledge about legislative issues that affect their rights and privileges and to participate directly in the political process. We have to build an awareness of who we are as individuals and as an industry to our Congress members. We welcome industry professionals from across the nation to take part in this event.

To participate in Legislative Day on the Hill appointments, please register first and then click the button below to print out a letter to fax, or send an e-mail to request an appointment. Legislative Day On the Hill Keynote Speaker
Monday, July 9 - 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. - Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel
Ed Henry, Chief White House Correspondent for FOX News

Prior to joining the White House unit, Henry covered Capitol Hill for CNN. Henry also reported from the campaign trail for CNN's "America Votes 2004." Henry joined CNN in April 2004 after having been senior editor and a columnist for Roll Call, a leading Capitol Hill newspaper, for eight years. While at Roll Call, he also served as a contributing editor at The Washingtonian magazine and as chief political analyst for WMAL, the Washington, D.C., affiliate of ABC Radio. He has also worked as an analyst for various television networks, including C-SPAN and WUSA, the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C.

Because of the unpredictability of the legislative calendar and D.C. events, scheduled speakers are tentative and subject to change.
