Reaffirm your pride and patriotism as you join other PLANET member volunteers in dedicating manpower and equipment to enhance the beauty of Arlington National Cemetery. PLANET is proud to honor America's veterans and leaders during this day of service, and we welcome you to join us in this nationally recognized event.

Each year, this event draws hundreds of landscape and lawn care professionals from across the country to Arlington National Cemetery to spend the day mulching, cabling and installing lightening protection for trees, pruning, planting, and liming and aerating more than 200 acres.

Due to the popularity of Renewal & Remembrance, we need to take our attendance into consideration when it comes to capacity issues at Arlington National Cemetery. In light of this, this is a PLANET member event and attendance will be taken on a first come basis and cut off at 400 people.

Did you know? ...

• 2011 marked the 15th anniversary of PLANET's Renewal & Remembrance event with more than $2 million contributed to the care of this historic landmark to date.
• This is the largest green industry day of service in the country - valued at more than $250,000.
• In 2010, more than 450 adults representing more than 80 companies and as many as 55 children participated in this time-honored event.
• Many of those who participate have a personal connection to Arlington National Cemetery, either through their own service or they have a friend of family member buried there.

Children's Program at Arlington National Cemetery (For children 12 years and under)
(Space is limited - attendance will be taken on a first come basis)
Bring your children to these sacred national grounds where they will experience history firsthand. They will be supervised in planting perennials and participate in the laying of the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, honoring America's veterans.
