|Did you know that your “PLANET Certified” wallet card has a wealth of information regarding the certification(s) you have earned? In addition to the certification designations and specialty endorsements you’ve achieved, the wallet card also has the date by which you should be submitting your renewal or recertification form. |
To determine if your certification is current, take a look at the wallet card to make sure it states either “Renewal required by 12/31/2009” or “Recertification required by 12/31/2010.”
If your wallet card shows a date of 12/31/2008 or earlier, you need to renew your certification to become current and transition into the new recertification process. Download the Certification Renewal form, complete the information about the Education and/or Service points you’re submitting for your renewal (along with the reactivation fee, if required), and send to the PLANET office. You’ll then receive your updated wallet card and the new “good through” date for your certification(s).
After you’ve checked your wallet card, be sure to ask your certified buddies “What’s in their wallets?” Help us make sure that everyone at your company or organization maintains their certifications.
If you have questions about the status of your certification, please contact Marcia Higgins or Zane Castle at (800) 395-2522 or e-mail the Certification Department.
