CHIEF WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT ED HENRY TO BE KEYNOTE SPEAKER FOR PLANET’S LEGISLATIVE DAY ON THE HILL
HERNDON, Va., April 26, 2012 — The Professional Landcare Network, PLANET, is pleased to announce that Ed Henry, chief White House correspondent for FOX News and former senior White House correspondent for CNN, will deliver this year’s Legislative Day on the Hill keynote address titled “View Inside Washington,” on July 9, 2012, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel.
Henry is a longtime Washington insider having been a senior editor at Roll Call before covering Congress and the White House for CNN and FOX.
In addition to Legislative Day on the Hill, PLANET will host the award-winning Renewal & Remembrance program at Arlington National Cemetery on July 9, 2012. Each year, this event draws hundreds of landscape and lawn care professionals from across the country to Arlington National Cemetery to spend the day mulching, cabling and installing lightening protection for trees, pruning, planting, and liming and aerating more than 200 acres. Attendance is limited so register early.
The new headquarters’ hotel for this year’s event is the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel. Reservations can be made by calling 800-228-9290 and asking for the group name “PLANET Legislative Day.”
Also new this year, PLANET will hold leadership meetings July 8-11. Committees and specialty groups will plan for the year ahead. Meetings are open to all attendees.
The Irrigation Association will partner with PLANET to host this year’s events. The platinum sponsor is New Holland Construction.
