PLANET, FNGLA, and OFA Announce Educational Partnership
HERNDON, Va., Sept. 19, 2012 — PLANET is pleased to announce that the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA) and OFA, the Association of Horticulture Professionals have partnered to plan and promote the next Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition (TPIE) Short Course. It will be held at the TPIE, Jan. 23–25, 2013, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
In an ever-changing industry environment, FNGLA, OFA, and PLANET are embracing the benefits of working together to deliver top-notch educational opportunities for their members. This educational opportunity offers an exciting venue and great industry resources designed to provide interiorscape professionals with critical take-away tools to make their businesses more successful.
FNGLA continues its administrative role of the TPIE Short Course and will handle logistical coordination and registration. OFA and PLANET will participate in the program’s development and promotion. All three associations will have industry experts involved in the development of the TPIE Short Course.
The TPIE is an international trade show with 200,000 square feet of exhibit space where more than 500 exhibiting companies showcase the widest array of plants and products to foliage and tropical plant buyers. The TPIE also offers educational sessions specifically geared to interiorscape professionals and business managers.
