PLANET ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF PEER GROUPS PROGRAM
HERNDON, Va., October 25, 2012 — PLANET, the national trade association for lawn and landscape professionals, today announced a partnership with the Wilson-Oyler Group to launch a national peer groups program.
"We are extremely pleased that PLANET selected Wilson-Oyler as its strategic partner. Utilizing our capabilities will enable PLANET to create a flexible platform to deliver peer group programs to a wide audience of landscape contractors," said Bruce Wilson, managing partner Wilson-Oyler Group. "Our shared passion for growing our industry's companies is a strong foundation for this relationship, and we look forward to working with PLANET to achieve their goals."
Peer groups help CEOs and business owners make better decisions and improve their bottom line through group learning and shared business practices.
CEOs and owners of companies that don't directly compete with each other will be grouped together and will meet in person for intensive, confidential collaborative learning sessions.
"Members wanted this program, and PLANET is really excited to deliver," said Norman Goldenberg, Landscape Industry Certified, PLANET president. "This will help companies become stronger and more profitable, which in turn will help the industry as a whole."
PLANET will launch the peer group program in 2013. CEOs or company owners who are interested in learning more about the peer group program can contact Joan Haller at email@example.com, or call 703-736-9666.
