Are you looking for innovative safety ideas? Are you concerned that your company is not in compliance with OSHA regulations? Come together to celebrate this year’s interior award recipients
The Interior Awards Banquet will be held at the Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition (TPIE), in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Friday, January 20, 2006, from 5:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. The banquet will celebrate the recipients of this year’s interior awards in PLANET’s Environmental Improvement Awards Program.
Check out RFP opportunities online
Various government and municipal organizations issue Requests For Proposals (RFPs) when they wish to outsource different types of services. Lawn and landscape companies can consult RFP listings to stay aware of the government and municipal opportunities available to their businesses. These listings can be a valuable source to PLANET members who wish to expand their services.
It’s time to apply for AEF scholarships
The ALCA Educational Foundation (AEF) will once again recognize outstanding college students enrolled in landscape contracting and horticulture programs at two-year and four-year colleges and universities. The 2006 scholarship applications are now available and must be submitted by January 20, 2006. The scholarships will be presented during the closing ceremony at PLANET’s Student Career Days, held March 23-26, 2006, at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Certification exams offered at many locations in 2006
PLANET arranges testing venues at other green industry association events so that the exams are available across the country and throughout the year. These conferences present excellent programs, and we appreciate being affiliated with them. Make your plans now to take a PLANET certification exam — CLP, CLT-Interior, COLP, CTP-CSL — at one of these locations.
