EPA WaterSense’s Water-Smart Landscape Photo Contest
The EPA’s WaterSense program wants to showcase the beauty, efficiency, and diversity of low water-using landscapes! So, it’s created the Water-Smart Landscape Photo Contest and invites the public, including homeowners, landscape designers, irrigation professionals, and anyone else committed to saving water for future generations, to submit photos presenting landscapes with drought-tolerant, low water-using, or native plants; mulch around shrubs and garden plants; limited or functional use of turfgrass; and Water-efficient irrigation design and components (e.g., micro or drip irritation, weather-based irrigation controllers, etc.) today! FAQs about implementation of electronic filing in H-2B and H-2A programs
The Department of Labor has posted the first round of frequently asked questions (FAQs) addressing the implementation of electronic filing in the H-2B and H-2A labor certification programs through its iCERT Visa Portal System. The FAQs are largely based on questions received from participants in the four webinar training sessions conducted by the Office of Foreign Labor Certification and are published to assist program users in navigating electronic filing in the H-2B and H-2A programs. Dennis’ 7 Dees tees up for charity; Golf tournament raises $57,581 to aid homeless families

For the fourth consecutive year, the team at Dennis’ 7 Dees has produced a Charity Golf Tournament which exceeded all expectations. On Sept. 13, 2012, 128 golfers teed up at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora to participate in the 18-hole event. At day’s end, $57,581 was raised to help homeless families in the community served by Human Solutions. More
